Health Partners Academy FAQs
Thinking about training with Health Partners Academy? We’ve answered some of our most frequently asked questions to help you find the information you need.
Can I pay for my course online, in instalments or through my employer?
We’re currently working on introducing online payments and instalment options. Once these are available, we’ll update our website with further details.
If your employer is paying for your course, we can invoice them directly. Simply provide the relevant contact details on your booking form and our Finance team will arrange the invoice.
How do I know if I’m eligible for the course, and is the exam included?
It’s important to check that you meet the eligibility requirements for the relevant examination before booking your course. You can find the latest eligibility criteria and examination requirements on the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) website.
The examination fee is not included in the course fee. Our Diploma training courses are designed to prepare you for the relevant examination, but you’ll need to register and pay for your exam separately through the FOM.

Am I eligible for a discount?
We offer discounts on selected one-day training courses for specialty training registrars and occupational health advisers/nurses. You can find further information on our Clinical Training page.
If you think you may be eligible for a discount, please contact our team and provide your professional registration number, such as GMC, NMC or HCPC or that of another regulator.
While discounts are not currently available for our Diploma courses, we do reimburse course fees for DOccMed if you are recruited to Health Partners as an Occupational Health Physician, please see DOccMed page for terms and conditions.
Will completing a course help me secure a role with Health Partners Group?
Unless you are applying to one of our career entry pathway courses, completing one of our training courses does not guarantee or directly lead to a role with Health Partners Group.
If you'd like to learn more about the opportunities available, our recruitment team would be happy to discuss potential career options. To arrange a conversation, please email recruitment@healthpartnersgroup.com
