Designing the right approach

Our in-house team of clinicians and therapists help with expert assessments, multi-pathway talking therapy and bespoke mental health training ensuring end-to-end support that can be delivered onsite or remotely. We work with our clients to create a cohesive solution and user experience, delivering improved outcomes for organisations and employees. Our end-to-end mental health services can be tailored to match each client’s needs.

Our services

We work with clients to ensure our service design enables the matching of patient care to the need and the type of care received.

Counselling

Counselling seeks to provide a safe and confidential space to talk to a professional about issues and concerns. This treatment pathway comprises the many counselling approaches, including person-centred, humanistic and existential counselling. Counselling is an evidence-based approach to managing a range of mental health difficulties, helping bring about effective change and enhancing wellbeing.

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a family of talking therapies, all based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, what we do and how our bodies feel, are all connected. If we change one of these we can alter all the others. Our CBT therapists offer a range of CBT-based treatments, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), for individuals with common mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. We also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) where individuals have experienced a trauma.

Clinical and Counselling Psychology

Clinical and counselling psychologists are statutorily regulated talking therapy professionals and are trained to doctoral level in a wide spectrum of therapy models. They provide tailored integrative treatments that suit each patient’s individual needs best. Our clinicians are also trained in diagnostic assessment and can offer holistic mental health assessments.

Psychiatry

Psychiatrists are medically trained doctors specialising in the pharmacological treatment of mental health disorders. Our psychiatrists can undertake medication reviews and assist in the management of mental health conditions.

Neurodivergent Conditions

We offer a range of screening and diagnostic assessments for individuals who suspect they may have a neurodivergent condition such as autistic spectrum condition (ASC) or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our service includes a range of aftercare options, including medication advice for ADHD, workplace needs assessments, post-diagnostic counselling and modified psychological therapies for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties alongside a neurodivergent condition.

Mental Health Training

We deliver expert training, workshops and webinars on mental health, wellbeing and healthy workplaces, aimed at employees, line managers and/or leaders, focussed on preventative mental health and delivered by clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapist and counsellors.

We have the clinical expertise to assist individuals and organisations to identify, manage and mitigate the escalation of mental health difficulties, and we regularly work with clients to create workshops based on specific requirements.

Specialist Assessments

One-off assessments are undertaken to answer specific clinical questions, often where no treatment is envisaged. These can be commissioned by occupational health physicians or HR professionals and can help when seeking advice around a particular issue, for example, a diagnostic question arising in relation to an aspect of someone’s workplace situation.

The aim is to identify any psychological needs an employee may have in addition to offering advice, so the individual's needs can be more effectively managed within the workplace.

Vulnerable Role Assessments

Specialist, role-related assessments can be conducted for employees at increased risk of psychological harm due to the nature of their role, for example, police officers dealing regularly with traumatic material. Our clinicians use our own clinically validated online tool that can be electronically deployed to undertake these assessments at scale. The results are reviewed by senior clinicians, and individuals can be identified for further assessment if cause is identified.

This service has been designed and implemented for a range of clients, including police forces, government agencies, NGOs, charities, scientific expeditions and members of the legal profession.

Neuropsychological (Cognitive) Assessments

We offer expert assessments undertaken by neuropsychologists to assess cognitive function. These are useful for individuals who may have suffered brain injury through accident or medical incidents, or who may suspect cognitive decline because of ageing, for example, memory or word-finding difficulty.

Organisational consultancy

We work closely with many of our clients to assist them in their strategic aims around mental health, whether this is around policy, promotion or the design and implementation of a mental health strategy and service. We are able to make a difference at an organisational level through our many years of experience across a wide range of sectors, using clinical intelligence and management information to inform strategic decision-making.
